“Dép tổ ong” được làm bằng cao su, màu trắng ngà với đế dày dặn, thiết kế đơn giản, quai dép được đúc theo họa tiết hình lục giác giống như tổ ong, nên nó mới có tên gọi “dép tổ ong”.

Nhờ sự bền, giá thành hợp lý, kiểu dáng phù hợp với nhiều lứa tuổi mà dép tổ ong trở thành một trong những mẫu dép phổ biến nhất trong đời sống của người dân Việt Nam trong suốt những năm của thập kỷ 80-90.

Thời nay, dù đã có nhiều mẫu mã thay thế, nhưng đôi dép tổ ong vẫn là một trong những sản phẩm được người Việt Nam yêu thích sử dụng.

“Dép tổ ong” or the “honeycomb sandal” is made of rubber. It has an ivory white with a thick sole and a simple design with the strap in the hexagonal pattern like a honeycomb. That’s why it is called “honeycomb sandal”.

Thanks to its durability, reasonable price, and suitable-for-everyone design, “dép tổ ong” has become one of the most popular sandals in the life of Vietnamese people during the 80-90s of the 20th century.

Nowadays, there are many alternative sandals but “dép tổ ong” is still one of the favorite products of Vietnamese people.
